  • Great Story, even though I despise the pairing

    Normally, I despise this paring, but it was handled very well in this comic. This is mainly because Rarity's (my least favorite pony) snobbish, diva-ish, annoying personality is taken down quite a notch that I actually don't feel too bad for Applejack the way I did in the Volume 1 comic book. She's so mellow and pleasant that even Applejack questions it! Plus, there's plenty of humor and you gotta love those pony puns! (Though instead of "Mount Monument", I think "Mount Rushmare" may have been a better name).

    I got this comic because it had Rarity and Applejack. I didn't really know what to expect, but it sure didn't disappoint! Not only does the comic capture the pair's personalities, it has all sorts of hidden jokes, references to pop culture, and a wonderful ending. If you love the TV show, you're sure to love the works of these writers too!

    Cook and Price never disappoint. This issue delivered my favorite Mane 6 pairing and kept the laughs coming and coming. I also loved how the issue gave us a better picture of West Equestria, so there's some great world building, too. This is one issue of the FF series you HAVE to own!
