    This book combines two things I look for in a book. Royalty, and powerful abilities! Don’t listen to anyone who says this book isn’t good. Recommend highly!

    So amazing and descriptive. Interesting and always keeps me on edge. I can see every page in my head as if I was living inside the book my self. 12/10 recommend.

    I admit the plot does sound a bit cheesy at first, but once I started reading I couldn’t stop. It seemed overrated, but now it seems underrated. I’m so glad I tried this book, and I think many other people should give it a chance. This is the best book I’ve ever read, and I’ve read a crazy amount of books. The vivid details paint a image in my head where it’s like a movie. Numerous times I almost skipped to the end to see what happens. It’s consists of suspense, romance, rebelling and greed. The plot is incredibly creative and has some twists I had never anticipated. It’s well written, and has many components, too long to list, that make this book perfect. I don’t want to stop reading it, and I haven’t. I’m reading it for the 4th time now. At times I had tears in my eyes or smiled, feeling like I knew the characters in my own way. Mare is like the girl I once knew; a close friend who I couldn’t trust. Kilorn is like a loyal friend I once had. Cal is the kind of person who I can’t decide to like or dislike. Maven was always the person who is striving to be just like his parents. These characters are like anyone I know, but where they must learn responsibility in a dystopian society. At first they can’t, but throughout the series they start to have some character development. Even if I think there could be more of it, by glass sword there are some huge changes. Just not much in this book. This is the hunger games and divergent all in one; but better. I think that maybe there are people who don’t like it, and that’s ok, but I think they should try reading it again. If they just try, they might see what I saw in this book, and continue to see.

    It has so many similarities to The Hunger Games with a left turn at Divergent and dressed up with mutant/latent/meta-human abilities. Oh and I guess love triangles are still considered a thing. The attempt at something original seems genuine, and if no one has ever read the afore mentioned tween books then you will enjoy the story line. I’m not sold enough to buy books 2 through 4 at $11 to $14 dollars each. But $2.99 is decent.

    I read the paperback book not the online version. I honestly hate to read but my school has us read ten mins in one of our classes and I just randomly grabbed this one and fell in love. Can't wait to start on the next one to find out what happens next I think I'm going to order them online off amazon. I'm not big on the whole online books rather have the book in my hand. But hands down my favorite book.

    This book is amazing!!!! It was in my library when I saw it in the new book section and I was like "what the heck!, I'm going to read it." The first page was it, it got me hooked!!! I love this series sooooo much, can't wait for the last one!!!! I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the hunger games, divergent, and the darkest minds trilogy!! ❤️❤️❤️

    I love this book and series. I read Red Queen in less than a day. I bought he next two to the series a few minutes after I was done reading RQ. Then, I read the next two over the course of three days. Now, I'm anxious for the next book. A good anxious. Definitely a great read.
