    This book kept me guessing. In part because of events I didn’t see coming. In part , due to difficulty adjusting to the writing style. There were some parts I wish I could delete all together; but mostly, it was a slow build leading to a satisfying gift at the end. Well worth the journey!

    This book really drew me in. I've been doing a book club for over a year and this is the first one that I finished. The story is so pure and real. Everyone either knows a character like Ove or can relate to him.

    At first I had a hard time getting into the book. But after about four chapters in I started feeling sympathetic for him and just kept reading until I found that I had a very hard time even putting the book down! I don't cry often in books but this one had me in tears at the end!!
